Kathryn's House

No other help ministry in Tyler, or Smith County, Texas is currently reaching out to women and children. Kathryn's House does not compete with the Crisis Center, Salvation Army and Path. None of these groups are fully equipped to be women and children inclusive and long term.

Kathryn's House not only assist with physical needs such as food, clothing and shelter, but it also helps to provide the ongoing compassionate love of our Lord Jesus Christ on a 24-hour, 7-days-a-week basis.

Kathryn's House exist to:

• Teach the Gospel of Our Lord Jesus Christ
• Serve the total needs of Women and Children
• Prepare Women and Children to be able to return to societal living
• Strengthen the ties with are evangelical churches and give them an
   opportunity to reach out to the homeless and abused on an ongoing
   basis through Kathryn's House.

We can help with:

• Motivation and encouragement
• Literacy/GED training
• Counseling
• Nutrition
• Parenting Skills
• Personal appearance
• Locating/securing employment
• Items for setting up a household
